Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2-3 years experience in restaurant management
- ability to work various shifts including weekends
- capability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 10 hours
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
- basic reading and writing skills
- finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment
- willingness to work in all restaurant positions as needed
- compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Job Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- serve safe food and serve safe alcohol certifications are a plus
- excellent leadership and team management skills
- strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- effective communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Job Duties
- Ensure timely, friendly service according to company guidelines
- cultivate a culture in line with Flynn Applebee's core values
- respond immediately to verbal guest complaints and ensure correction
- prioritize guest contact by completing required table visits
- maintain departmental inventory levels
- ensure product preparation and presentation meet company standards through line checks
- effectively schedule employees to meet sales demands
- maintain effective safety and security programs
- promote and lead restaurant organization, cleanliness, and sanitation
- perform routine maintenance and report needed repairs
- promote quality recruitment and referrals of potential team members and management candidates
- promote Flynn Applebee's training procedures for new managers
- maintain a trained staff through orientation, training sessions, and policy implementation
- participate in employee development using performance documentation and written evaluations
- assess employee efficiency and provide regular feedback
- monitor employee performance and document disciplinary situations
- assure compliance with company policies and procedures
- control costs in assigned departments
- comply with local, state, and federal laws and guidelines
- conduct bi-weekly or weekly food and liquor inventories as requested
- prepare and submit accurate daily paperwork
- maintain sanitation standards meeting health department and company standards
- provide a role model for managers and employees
- develop self in all store-related technology
- work in all positions and assist team members as needed
- use the Management Development Program for continuous leadership growth
