Job Description
Central Florida KFC Inc, operating under the well-known KFC brand, is a prominent restaurant company situated in THE VILLAGES, FL. This franchise is part of the global KFC family, which is renowned for its commitment to providing high-quality, flavorful fried chicken and excellent customer service. As a franchisee, Central Florida KFC Inc is dedicated to creating a work environment that fosters growth, teamwork, and professional development while maintaining the highest standards in food quality and customer experience. KFC's reputation is built on its ability to serve millions of customers worldwide, and this franchise shares the same values and enthusiasm for delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
The role of Assistant Manager at Central Florida KFC Inc represents a fantastic opportunity for motivated individuals who are passionate about leadership and customer service. This position is a full-time role, designed for those who want to take an active part in running successful shifts, overseeing restaurant operations, and supporting their team throughout their daily tasks. Assistant Managers here are entrusted with critical responsibilities such as managing inventory, enforcing food safety standards, handling cash controls, and leading by example through excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
This role offers competitive starting pay with additional benefits such as paid time off for vacations and holidays, as well as health, dental, and vision insurance. Moreover, employees benefit from a 401(k) plan with company match and the chance to earn bonuses tied to store performance. Working closely with the Restaurant General Manager (RGM), the Assistant Manager will play a vital part in ensuring smooth restaurant operations while fostering a positive work environment. This is an ideal position for individuals who seek to learn, grow, and potentially advance to general management roles within the company.
As an Assistant Manager, you are expected to execute the Manager-In-Charge (MIC) Success Routine effectively, focusing on responsibilities that enhance the experience for People, Customers, and Service. This includes handling profit and loss management by following cash control and security protocols, managing labor effectively, maintaining inventory, and delivering consistent coaching and leadership to your team members. The role demands a hands-on approach, meaning being able to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, cleaning and maintaining the restaurant premises, and assisting with operational tasks while overseeing the team.
Successful candidates will demonstrate patience, a friendly attitude, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment while upholding high food safety and quality standards. You will need to be adaptable, making swift and appropriate decisions, and taking ownership of challenges that come your way. Providing constructive feedback and helping train new team members are a crucial aspect of this position, as is maintaining an engaging and welcoming atmosphere for every guest.
Central Florida KFC Inc values proactive communication and expects Assistant Managers to participate actively in conflict resolution and delivering a WOW experience for each customer. This vibrant role is perfect for individuals at least 18 years old with relevant supervisory experience in food service or retail, who are ready to step up as confident and competent leaders. Those interested in this career path can expect a supportive environment where leadership skills are nurtured, and professional growth is encouraged in alignment with the company's goals and customer expectations.
