Job Description
Flynn Arby's, a part of the Flynn Group, represents the largest Arby's franchisee operation in the world, having joined the Flynn Group's expansive portfolio in 2018 with the acquisition of over 300 Arby's restaurants. The Flynn Group itself, founded in 1999 by Greg Flynn, has grown into the world's largest franchise operator, managing a diversified array of world-class restaurant brands including Applebee's, Panera Bread, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Wendy's, and Planet Fitness. This diverse and dynamic group of companies is committed to being premier operators within each brand, guided by core values such as genuinely caring for people, playing like champions, and winning as one united team. These values underscore the Flynn Group's commitment to excellence, teamwork, and outstanding service.
At Flynn Arby's, this commitment is reflected in the culture and operations of each restaurant, embodying a passion for delivering flawless customer service and hospitality. As the company continues to grow by building new stores and acquiring other franchise operators, the opportunity to join the team as an Assistant Manager offers a unique chance to contribute to a world-class food and hospitality company. This role is ideal for driven and proven leaders who excel at teamwork, are passionate about hospitality, and are eager to develop as leaders within a thriving franchise network. The position offers a robust benefits package and an hourly wage ranging from $18 to $20, with additional opportunities for monthly profit-sharing bonuses. Employment is available both full-time and part-time, requiring a minimum of 30 hours per week.
The Assistant Manager will work closely alongside the General Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant. This role goes beyond daily operational tasks to focus on leadership, training, and mentoring team members to consistently deliver high standards of customer service. The Assistant Manager helps maintain rigorous inventory control, upholds food safety and quality standards, and collaborates with management on scheduling and labor cost management. They play a critical role in setting operational goals, motivating staff to reach sales targets, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment consistent with the brand’s reputation. The role also involves direct interaction with customers, resolving inquiries and issues promptly and professionally, which enhances guest satisfaction and loyalty.
By joining Flynn Arby's as an Assistant Manager, you will immerse yourself in a vibrant culture dedicated to both operational success and the development of people. This position is more than a job; it's an opportunity to grow a rewarding career within one of the largest and most respected franchise groups globally, where staff are supported through initiatives like a Tuition Reimbursement program, Employee Resource Groups, and comprehensive healthcare offerings. The position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the restaurant industry's dynamic nature. Flynn Group's commitment to diversity, inclusion, and accessible accommodation further supports a welcoming and empowering workplace for all individuals.
