With a strong focus on efficient operations and a committed team, the establishment fosters a culture of teamwork, training, and attention to detail to ensure every guest has a positive dining experience.
The position available is for an Assistant Manager, a vital role responsible for overseeing all restaurant functions in the absence of the General Manager. This is a hands-on management position where you will be required to lead and motivate a team of approximately three to 15 employees. The Assistant Manager ensures the successful execution of operational tasks, including the preparation and service of food, managing inventory, supervising staff, and maintaining clean and organized shifts. This role demands excellent leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in food quality and customer service.
The Assistant Manager is responsible for forecasting food requirements, estimating consumption per shift, and delegating duties to maintain efficiency during busy periods. You will also handle daily operational responsibilities like ordering and receiving supplies, completing opening and closing procedures, supervising delivery operations, and auditing shifts to ensure compliance with company systems and procedures. A crucial part of this role is to guarantee all customers receive exceptional service, and all transactions are handled with 100 percent accuracy including cash drawer management.
This job requires a proactive individual capable of performing preventive maintenance on the store's equipment and supplies, while also juggling multiple tasks to keep the restaurant running smoothly. With the need to work nights, weekends, holidays, and possible overtime, flexibility and physical stamina are essential. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, current automobile insurance, and a clean driving record.
Fluency in English, strong math skills, and computer literacy (including knowledge of software like Excel and Word) are important qualifications for this role. The physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 50 pounds, and other activities necessary to manage the fast-paced restaurant environment effectively.
Overall, this Assistant Manager opportunity offers a dynamic work setting where leadership skills, operational expertise, and customer service excellence come together. Join a vibrant team committed to delivering quality food and memorable customer experiences while supporting your professional growth in the restaurant industry.
