Job Description
Taco Bell is a globally recognized quick-service restaurant franchise known for its innovative approach to Mexican-inspired cuisine. The company prides itself on delivering a unique dining experience that combines speed, quality, and affordability. With a widespread presence across multiple locations, Taco Bell continuously seeks passionate leaders who can embody its brand values and contribute to its ongoing growth. The establishment where this role is offered operates as a franchised location of Taco Bell, committed to providing exceptional customer service and fostering a dynamic work environment. Located at 419 W. Bell Road, Phoenix, AZ, this franchise emphasizes community involvement and employee development, ensuring that each team member can thrive and grow within the organization.
The role of Assistant Manager at Taco Bell offers a compelling opportunity for individuals eager to lead and make a tangible impact within a fast-paced restaurant setting. This position is classified as an hourly role with an expected 50-hour work week, aligning with the standard operational hours necessary to maintain high standards of service and restaurant performance. The Assistant Manager will play a pivotal role in daily operations, focusing not only on delivering excellent guest experiences but also on inspiring and managing the team in the absence of the Restaurant General Manager. Leadership, training, and operational management are core aspects of this job, providing a comprehensive experience in restaurant management.
As an Assistant Manager, you will have direct responsibility for managing shift execution, labor costs, and financial goals to meet the restaurant's targets. Coaching and developing staff members is essential to building a strong and efficient team, fostering a positive culture that supports individual growth and teamwork. The position also involves handling customer concerns with professionalism, managing scheduling and maintenance tasks, and overseeing administrative responsibilities. Taco Bell supports its Assistant Managers with a wide range of benefits including performance bonuses, free meals, comprehensive medical/dental/vision insurance, paid time off, and 401(k) options with company match. Additional benefits such as education support, retail discounts, and an Employee Assistance Program further enhance the employee experience.
This role is ideal for natural leaders who thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Candidates with experience from other fast food or quick-service restaurants such as Chick-fil-A, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Wendy’s, or those who have held roles like Assistant Restaurant Manager, Assistant Hospitality Manager, or Shift Supervisor will find themselves well-prepared for success. Taco Bell values those who are passionate about people development, results-driven, and motivated to expand their career within the restaurant industry. Join a team that encourages purposeful leadership, personal growth, and having fun while delivering exceptional service. As a franchisee-operated location, employment terms are determined by the franchise owner, offering a unique opportunity to be part of the vibrant Taco Bell family with a local employer that values innovation and community impact.
