Job Requirements
- 2+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
- Experience assisting with profit and loss management, cash control, inventory and labor management
- Ability to provide proper training and resources to employees
- Commitment to promoting equity, inclusion and belonging
- Strong communication skills for performance management and employee motivation
- Knowledge of corporate policies, procedures and Occupational Health and Food Safety standards
- Ability to lead and resolve employee relations issues
- Availability to work a 50-hour week including overtime hours
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
- Experience assisting with profit and loss management including cash control and labor management
- Strong leadership and team coaching skills
- Effective communication skills for conducting performance appraisals and motivating employees
- Knowledge of corporate policies, procedures and health and safety standards
- Ability to promote equity, inclusion and belonging within the workplace
- Experience supporting hiring and recruitment processes
- Ability to recognize and reward individual and team achievements
Job Duties
- Ensure consistent customer satisfaction by effectively modeling the KFC Connect Success Routine and prioritizing customer needs
- Oversee team members' adherence to shift responsibilities and maintain high food safety standards
- Take charge of restaurant operations in the Restaurant General Manager's absence
- Collaborate with the Restaurant General Manager in assessing team performance and providing constructive feedback
- Address employee relations issues and determine appropriate resolutions
- Assist in sourcing, recruiting, interviewing and hiring team members
- Drive a culture of equity, inclusion and belonging
- Assist with profit and loss management including cash control, security procedures, inventory maintenance and labor management
- Review financial reports and take appropriate actions to optimize performance
- Support facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are consistently followed
