Established as one of the most popular fast-food chains worldwide, KFC is renowned for its commitment to quality, consistency, and delivering an exceptional dining experience to millions of customers every day. Located at 4338 W Glendale Ave, Glendale, AZ, this particular restaurant is part of KFC's extensive network of corporate and franchised locations, renowned for a vibrant work culture that encourages growth, equity, inclusion, and belonging among its employees.

As an Assistant Manager at this KFC location, you will play a crucial role in shaping the restaurant's success and customer satisfaction by supporting the Restaurant General Manager. This full-time position offers a rewarding balance with a 50-hour workweek, including 40 hours paid at a regular rate and 10 hours at time-and-a-half. In this leadership position, you will be directly responsible for daily restaurant operations in the manager's absence, which includes making key decisions that affect the team and customers alike. Your leadership extends beyond operational management to developing and recognizing your team, ensuring high food safety standards, supporting recruitment processes, and contributing to financial and profit and loss management. This comprehensive role involves acting as an owner in managing cash controls, security procedures, inventory, labor costs, and optimizing overall restaurant performance through effective financial report reviews.

Moreover, the role expects you to foster a positive work environment that champions KFC's core values of equity, inclusion, and belonging, thereby encouraging team motivation, collaboration, and exceptional customer service. You will be instrumental in coaching and training team members while also addressing employee relations issues professionally and promptly.

KFC places a significant emphasis on employee well-being and development. The benefits package includes competitive pay, bonus eligibility, and medical benefits effective from day one. Employees also enjoy 2 weeks’ vacation plus additional paid time off, free meal each shift, and access to career advancement and professional development opportunities. Additionally, KFC offers unique programs such as scholarship opportunities and Foundation Programs that include free college tuition at Western Governors University, savings match programs, and hardship assistance, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking growth and stability.
