This role involves working in close collaboration with the General Manager to oversee both in-store operations and back-of-the-house administrative tasks. The Assistant Manager is expected to uphold all operational systems and procedures with absolute integrity and professionalism. The ideal candidate will bring an enthusiastic, eager, and positive attitude, setting the tone for the team and ensuring the smooth functioning of the store. Responsibilities for the Assistant Manager include overseeing busy rush periods to maintain service quality and efficiency, training new employees to jack up team competence, and handling weekly inventory reviews and paperwork audits essential for the store's operational accuracy. This position requires active communication with the General Manager to address the store's needs promptly and effectively. The role demands a minimum commitment of 35 hours per week and includes responsibilities such as managing shifts including key opening and closing duties tailored to the store's needs. Competency in software like Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat is necessary to handle essential paperwork and inventory management. Job Requirements
- Ability to work a minimum of 35 hours a week
- at least 18 years of age
- basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
- ability to handle fast-paced and high stress situations in the store
- organize and establish priorities in the store with minimal supervision
- ability to key close or key open based on the store's individual needs
