Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in restaurant or food service management preferred
  • ability to lift heavy items ranging from 25 to 85 pounds
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • hearing in normal range must be present due to auditory alarms for some cooking equipment
  • ability to handle cash and perform counting tasks
  • ability to read and comprehend menus, manuals and training aids
  • manual dexterity for packing food containers and cleaning
  • ability to work with others in somewhat confined spaces
  • commitment to maintaining safety around high temperature equipment, boiling water and hot shortening
  • ability to maintain confidentiality of company operating procedures and results

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in restaurant or food service management preferred
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • knowledge of restaurant operations and food safety standards
  • ability to mentor and develop team members
  • basic cash handling and counting skills
  • proficiency in scheduling and inventory management

Job Duties

  • Partner with the restaurant general manager on success metrics and lead restaurant team to reach goals
  • ownership of the guest experience that includes friendly interactions, a clean restaurant and hot and fresh meals
  • grow and mentor team through training and hiring
  • effectively communicate goals, promotions, business updates, etc
  • lead the overall positive and collaborative family environment
  • may include preparing work schedules
  • may include ordering food and supplies
  • may include preparing daily paperwork
  • may include making daily deposits
  • employee on-the-job training
