The Assistant Restaurant Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the company’s brand strategy by ensuring the vision, mission, and values of Braum's are consistently upheld. With an emphasis on creating a great customer experience and maximizing sales, the Assistant Manager works closely with the store team to lead by example and foster a positive and productive workplace. This position supports the management of Braum's food service operations, grocery market, and fountain sales, with responsibilities that include coaching team members, overseeing daily activities, monitoring inventory and safety standards, and maintaining cleanliness. The role requires working a rotating schedule with a typical 45-hour workweek, primarily during the afternoon to closing hours. Compensation ranges from $16.50 to $17.00 per hour, equating to an annual salary of approximately $44,500 to $48,500. Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Minimum 2 years of retail management experience
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid Driver License
- Ability to work a rotating 3 week schedule with an expected 45 hour work week
- Demonstrated customer focus

Job Duties
- Teach, coach and provide leadership to the store crew members
- Maximize store sales through customer satisfaction and food quality
- Oversee the daily operations of Braum's food service function, grocery market and fountain sales
- Actively participate in monitoring inventory and supply levels, kitchen equipment, safety and cleanliness as needed
- Share in responsibility for ensuring that Braum's store policies and practices are implemented and followed accordingly
