Job Description

Little Caesar's Pizza of Arkansas, Inc., established in 1986, is a well-established independent franchisee operating 19 locations throughout Central Arkansas. As part of a global chain with a rich history beginning in 1954, the company prides itself on maintaining a strong family-oriented culture, emphasizing hard work, fun, and providing affordable pizza options for families. The Arkansas franchise continues to grow, embracing core corporate values such as serving others, owning your work, never giving up, and being an all-star. These values foster an environment where team members are motivated to exceed expectations while supporting each other in a positive workplace.

Little Caesar's Pizza of Arkansas is currently seeking energetic and fun individuals to join their team as full-time Assistant Managers for day and evening shifts. This hourly position offers a competitive starting wage with a $1.00 per hour raise upon successful completion of their training program. The Assistant Manager role is pivotal within the restaurant’s management team and comes with opportunities for advancement. It involves receiving training and guidance from the Restaurant Manager and Co-Manager while supervising staff members, including providing adult supervision to employees under 18 years of age. Cost control is an essential aspect of the position, with the Assistant Manager responsible for utilizing all cost-control tools to achieve goals related to food, paper, and labor expenses. Additionally, preparing for peak business hours and ensuring excellent customer service standards are met is critical. The Assistant Manager must be adept at handling shift operations, opening and closing duties, and managing various job functions such as cash handling, sales reporting, employee scheduling, inventory management, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

The position requires a hands-on leader who can work through challenges with a positive, determined attitude aligned with the company’s core values of never giving up and being an all-star in leadership. Candidates should possess a minimum of 12 months of restaurant or retail management experience, be authorized to work in the United States, and successfully pass required training programs and certifications. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications like Outlook, Excel, and Word is preferred, along with strong mathematical skills to analyze business performance indicators.

Physically, the role demands mobility throughout the restaurant, the ability to stand for long periods, work in varying temperature conditions, and safely lift and carry items weighing up to 55 pounds. Effective communication skills across speaking, reading, writing, and hearing are necessary to interact with customers, crew, and management efficiently. Little Caesar's Arkansas is committed to accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act to ensure a safe and fulfilling experience for all employees.

This role offers numerous benefits including medical, vision, and dental insurance, life insurance, a 401K plan, paid time off, and a unique "Tapcheck" flexible payroll option, making it a compelling opportunity for those seeking career growth in the food service industry.
