Wendy's is currently seeking Assistant Managers to join their team at Wen-Robb, LLC, a proud franchisee managing 10 stores across Peachtree City, Fayetteville, Griffin, Barnesville, and the Atlanta area in Georgia. Wen-Robb, LLC is owned and operated by Larry Robbins and prides itself on a family-like culture where every employee is valued and supported. Many of their General Managers have risen through the ranks, starting as Crew Members and progressing with time and effort.

The Assistant Manager role at Wendy's is dynamic and integral to the smooth operation of the restaurant. Individuals in this position will oversee daily operations, ensure financial controls are maintained, and manage staffing schedules effectively. This role requires strong interpersonal and leadership skills to build and maintain a cohesive team. Assistant Managers will be responsible for recruiting, training, and developing staff while fostering a positive work environment reflecting the fun, family-centric values of the brand. Ensuring adherence to health and safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and equipment maintenance is a critical component of this role.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of assistant manager experience
  • Flexibility to work 50-hours per week, rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing
  • Consent to background screening
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem solving and decision making skills

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of assistant manager experience
  • Experience in high volume food service concepts preferred
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and lead a cohesive team

Job Duties

  • Oversee restaurant’s daily operations
  • Maintain day-to-day financial controls
  • Create and manage staff schedules
  • Interview, hire, train and write-up staff
  • Oversee coaching, counseling and developing staff and managing team relations
  • Exercise proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management
  • Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met
  • Set the tone for the fun, family environment in the restaurant
