Job Description

Circle K at Store 2746246 located at 12681 Chestnut Blvd., Shakopee, Minnesota 55379, is seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager to join its dynamic team. As an Assistant Manager at Circle K, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of the store. The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in overseeing the Stationstore operations, including hiring and supervising staff, managing bookkeeping, merchandising, and maintaining high standards of customer service and store presentation. In this leadership role, you will be expected to lead by example, demonstrating urgency, patience, and strong leadership qualities. You will also be pivotal in handling cash and other bookkeeping responsibilities, ensuring safety and security within the store, and advocating for both customers and team members.

Job Requirements

  • Flexible availability for shifts
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
  • Capability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds for 30 minutes per shift
  • Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds
  • Ability to push or pull with arms up to 20 pounds of force
  • Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour per shift
  • Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands requiring eye-hand coordination
  • Provide regular and predictable onsite attendance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in retail preferred
  • Previous supervisor or management experience desired
  • Skilled in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring
  • Able to handle food safely
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to plan and organize effectively

Job Duties

  • Assist the Store Manager with oversight of Stationstore operations
  • Hire, supervise, and work with staff to accomplish daily tasks
