This job opportunity is with a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee of Jason's Deli, a well-known and respected brand in the foodservice industry. Unlike positions offered by corporate entities, this role is directly managed by the independent franchisee, meaning the franchisee is the employer responsible for all aspects of employment including hiring, firing, wages, supervision, discipline, staffing, and scheduling. Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights
- legal authorization to work in the united states
- willingness to comply with health and safety standards
- reliable transportation to work location
- able to follow instructions and maintain professionalism
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in food service or restaurant environment is advantageous but not required
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast paced environment
- basic math skills for handling transactions
- team oriented with a positive attitude
Job Duties
- prepare food items according to company standards
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
- provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs politely and efficiently
- follow all health and safety regulations
- assist in inventory management and stock replenishment
- collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system
