The Assistant Restaurant Manager role at Braum's is a dynamic and impactful position designed for motivated leaders who are eager to drive operational success while cultivating a strong team environment. This management position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $16.50 to $17.00, translating to an annual compensation of approximately $45,500 to $48,500. This role involves consistent scheduling with shifts starting at 2:00 PM until close, adhering to a rotating three-week schedule with approximately 45 hours per week.

In this role, the Assistant Manager supports Braum’s brand strategy and vision by actively promoting its core values in every aspect of store operations. This person plays a critical role in enhancing customer satisfaction and maximizing sales through effective team leadership and training. The Assistant Manager is responsible for teaching and coaching store crew members, ensuring adherence to food quality standards, managing daily food service activities, overseeing inventory, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

The job requires a hands-on leader who can foster an environment of trust, motivate the team, and communicate effectively with the store leadership. The ideal candidate will have a background in retail management, possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate the ability to analyze and act on various operational reports. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • valid driver license
  • minimum of 2 years experience in retail management
  • availability to work 2:00 pm to close with a rotating 3 week schedule

Job Duties

  • Teach, coach and provide leadership to the store crew members
  • maximize store sales through customer satisfaction and food quality
  • oversee the daily operations of Braum's food service function, grocery market and fountain sales
  • actively participate in monitoring inventory and supply levels, kitchen equipment, safety and cleanliness as needed
  • share in responsibility for ensuring that Braum's store policies and practices are implemented and followed accordingly
