Job Description
The company is a prominent player in the fast-food restaurant industry, operating under one of the world's most recognizable brands, KFC. Known for its commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and vibrant team culture, KFC offers opportunities for career growth and personal development in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The establishment prides itself on upholding brand standards and delivering exceptional customer experiences through motivated and well-trained teams. This particular role as Assistant Manager is crucial in maintaining high operational standards and supporting the overall success of the restaurant. The position is full-time, with a 48-hour workweek that includes 40 hours at regular pay plus 8 hours compensated at time and a half, offering a balanced and rewarding experience for the right candidate.
In the role of Assistant Manager, you will serve as a vital leader within the restaurant, working closely with the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) to uphold brand standards while inspiring and guiding your team. This position requires hands-on leadership, where you will train, coach, and recognize team members to ensure the delivery of memorable customer experiences. You will play an active role in daily operations, stepping in to manage the restaurant in the absence of the RGM by making key decisions that foster excellence and efficiency.
An essential part of your role involves enforcing the KFC Connect Success Routine to consistently meet customer satisfaction goals and ensuring the team adheres to food safety and operational protocols. You will also assist in sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and hiring team members, while fostering a culture of equity, inclusion, and belonging. Financial responsibilities are part of the role as well, including assisting with profit and loss management, cash control, inventory oversight, labor management, and reviewing financial reports to optimize performance.
Moreover, you will support the RGM in maintaining the facility to meet health and safety standards, providing a safe and welcoming environment for both staff and customers. This role offers more than operational duties – it is about building a motivated, collaborative team culture that values individual and collective achievements, ensuring that the restaurant is a great place to work and dine. Opportunities for professional development, bonuses, medical benefits, and various perks further enrich this position, making it a compelling opportunity for individuals passionate about leadership in the hospitality sector.
