From a profitability perspective, the Assistant Manager plays a key role in controlling labor, food, and cash costs, executing marketing initiatives, and promoting safety and security throughout the restaurant. They work collaboratively with the Restaurant Manager to evaluate performance, identify improvements, and implement strategic action plans to meet business objectives.
Success in this role requires strong communication skills, financial acumen, supervisory experience, and a passion for delivering results. Candidates should be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and demonstrate competencies in guest focus, problem solving, decision making, team building, conflict management, and staff development.
