This Management role is integral to the smooth daily operations of the restaurant. The individual will step in as the leader during the General Manager's absence to oversee all functions ensuring that customers receive world-class service and food quality remains top-notch. The role centers on managing a dynamic team ranging from three to fifteen employees, coordinating food preparation, overseeing inventory and supplies, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and operational efficiency. It demands someone with impeccable organizational skills, leadership abilities, and a hands-on approach to managing both people and processes.
The restaurant manager will be responsible for key operational tasks including on-the-job training, delegating tasks related to ordering and inventory management, supervising food sales and service, and maintaining a seamless workflow especially during busy periods. This position also includes forecasting food consumption, handling the route and supervision of delivery drivers to maximize business potential, and handling all cash drawer responsibilities with accountability and accuracy.
Furthermore, the manager ensures all systems and procedures are followed with 100% integrity, completes daily and weekly paperwork, and oversees preventive maintenance of store equipment. The role requires close attention to detail and a proactive stance towards problem-solving to uphold the business standards consistently.

Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have current automobile insurance
- Clean driving record required
- Physical stamina to work 50-60 hours per week
- Willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as business dictates
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, and have good vision including close, distance, peripheral and depth perception
- Ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, fractions, and percentages
- Ability to speak, read and write English fluently and clearly
- Knowledge of personal computer use including Excel and Word
- Experience in restaurant management or supervisory role preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to handle cash accurately
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Manages a staff of approximately three to 15 employees
- Provides on-the-job training for all employees
- Delegates and is responsible for the ordering, receipt, storage and issuing of all food, labor, equipment, cleaning and paper supplies for the unit to ensure a minimum loss from waste and theft
- Assists in the supervision of preparation, sales and service of food
- Forecasts food items
- Estimates what amount of each food item is needed
- Estimates what amount of each food item will be consumed per shift
- Supervises food preparation and service operations while on duty
- Assists in shopper during rush periods to ensure the maintenance of restaurant efficiency
- Ensures that every customer receives world class customer service
- Routes deliveries and supervises drivers to maximize delivery business and speed
- Completes daily food preparation including opening procedures, meat and vegetable slicing and bread production
- Completes closing procedures
- Executes systems and procedures with 100% integrity and completeness
- Completes daily and weekly paperwork
- Responsible for 100% of the cash drawers at all times during the shift
- Audits previous shift's systems and procedures for 100% integrity and completeness
- Completes preventive maintenance and upkeep on store's equipment and supplies
- Performs other related duties as required
