Dine Brands is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Restaurant Supervisor to join their team located at 1217 Omniplex Dr, Cincinnati, OH 45240. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational excellence within the restaurant while delivering outstanding guest experiences. The Restaurant Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining restaurant cleanliness, enforcing safety and security protocols, and ensuring proper food preparation and presentation standards. This position requires a hands-on leader capable of supervising, training, and developing team members to consistently meet the high standards expected by IHOP and the broader Dine Brands family.
Additionally, the Restaurant Supervisor will support financial performance by assisting with inventory management, cost control, and profitability initiatives. As a team leader, motivating staff, managing schedules, and fostering a positive work environment will be key functions of the role. The supervisor is also responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and providing development opportunities for new employees. Effective communication is vital as the supervisor serves as a liaison between staff, vendors, and internal teams.
The ideal candidate will have 1-2+ years of supervisory experience in casual dining, training abilities, impeccable integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information. The role demands adaptability to a fast-paced environment, problem-solving skills, and a strong passion for hospitality and guest interaction. Flexibility with scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is essential. Physical stamina is required, with the ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the restaurant. This position offers a competitive salary range of $42,000 to $55,000 per year, complemented by a quarterly bonus plan based on performance. Job Duties
- Maintaining restaurant cleanliness adhering to safety and security protocols and ensuring proper food preparation and presentation
- Ensuring guests have a positive dining experience by addressing complaints providing timely and friendly service and actively engaging with customers
- Supervising training and developing team members to ensure they deliver excellent service and meet IHOP's standards
- Assisting with inventory management cost control and maximizing profitability
- Leading and motivating staff to achieve daily goals manage schedules and maintain a positive work environment
- Recruiting onboarding and training new employees and providing opportunities for growth
- Serving as a point of contact for staff vendors and other internal teams
