The position available is for an Assistant Restaurant Manager, also referred to as a Food Service Supervisor or Management role, designed for a positive and energetic individual who is looking to develop their career within a dynamic and rewarding environment. The salary for this Assistant Manager position ranges from $16.50 to $17.00 per hour, translating annually to approximately $48,000 to $50,500. Work hours are scheduled from 2:00 pm to close, working a rotating 3-week schedule with an expected 45-hour workweek, ensuring the role remains engaging with varied responsibilities.

As an Assistant Manager at Braum's, you will be instrumental in executing the company’s brand strategy by promoting and living its vision, mission, and core values to create a memorable customer experience while driving sales growth. You will lead by example, teaching, coaching, and providing guidance to the store’s crew members to ensure every team member is aligned and motivated toward achieving unit goals. Your leadership will also extend to managing the daily operations, which includes food service functions, grocery market oversight, and fountain sales.

Key responsibilities involve actively monitoring inventory levels, supplies, kitchen equipment functionality, and maintaining strict adherence to safety and cleanliness standards. Strong collaboration with the Store Manager and other leadership members is essential to uphold Braum's store policies and operational practices. The Assistant Manager must demonstrate a customer-focused mindset and a high standard of integrity, besides maintaining a positive approach toward staff training and development. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years retail management experience
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to work from 2:00 pm to close with a rotating 3-week schedule
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
  • Commitment to high integrity and work ethic
  • Ability to effectively communicate with leadership and team members
  • Willingness to participate in background check and job-fit assessment as part of onboarding

Job Duties

  • Teach, coach and provide leadership to the store crew members

  • Share in responsibility for ensuring that Braum's store policies and practices are implemented and followed accordingly
