As an Assistant Manager at KFC, you will play a pivotal role in driving the restaurant's success by supporting the Restaurant General Manager and leading the team to deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will be instrumental in upholding brand standards, inspiring and coaching team members, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of management experience in restaurant or retail
- Demonstrated ability to manage profit and loss including cash control and inventory
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Effective communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Commitment to upholding food safety and health regulations
- Ability to motivate and develop team members
- Experience in recruitment and employee training
- Flexibility to work a 50-hour work week with overtime pay
Job Qualifications
- 2 plus years of restaurant or retail management experience
- Experience assisting with profit and loss management, including cash control and inventory maintenance
- Proven ability to train and provide resources to employees
- Strong leadership skills and commitment to corporate culture, equity, inclusion and belonging
- Ability to motivate and recognize individual and team performance
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing and hiring exceptional talent
- Excellent communication skills for performance appraisals and disciplinary actions
- Knowledge of corporate policies, procedures, occupational health and food safety standards
Job Duties
- Ensure consistent customer satisfaction by effectively modeling the KFC Connect Success Routine and prioritizing customer needs
- Oversee Team Members' adherence to shift responsibilities and maintain high food safety standards
- Take charge of restaurant operations in the RGM's absence
- Collaborate with the RGM in assessing team performance, providing ongoing constructive and positive feedback
- Address employee relations issues and determine immediate resolutions or escalate as necessary
- Assist in sourcing, recruiting, interviewing and hiring Team Members, promoting a culture of equity, inclusion and belonging
- Assist with profit and loss management, including cash control, security procedures, inventory maintenance and labor management
- Review financial reports and take appropriate actions to optimize performance
- Support the RGM in facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are followed
