Job Description

Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) is a leading provider of automotive maintenance services, known for its commitment to quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. As a part of Valvoline, a reputable brand with a long history in the automotive industry, VIOC specializes in oil changes and vehicle maintenance delivered through a fast and convenient service model. The company prides itself on fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace culture, welcoming team members from various backgrounds including people of color, women, LGBTQIA+, veterans, and persons with disabilities. VIOC emphasizes its belief that "it all starts with our people," underscoring the importance of team collaboration and respect in achieving outstanding service results. The work environment is designed to be supportive, with a strong focus on employee training, development, and career advancement opportunities. This position is offered as a full-time role with competitive weekly pay of $21.25 per hour along with various employee benefits.

As an Assistant Service Center Manager at Valvoline Instant Oil Change, you will serve as the crucial support to the Service Center Manager, leading and building a high-performance team that sets VIOC apart from other automotive service providers. Your responsibilities will span a wide range of operational and leadership tasks that ensure the service center functions smoothly and efficiently. You will be directly involved in performing oil changes and other car maintenance services while also mentoring and supervising the hourly employees. This role requires someone who can lead by example, creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers with warm, friendly greetings and building lasting trust that generates customer loyalty. Your leadership will extend to managing inventory and labor while contributing to the financial success of the service center. The ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment is vital, as is staying compliant with Environmental, Health & Safety policies and procedures. VIOC’s commitment to career development means you will have access to paid on-the-job training — no prior automotive experience is necessary — and opportunities for tuition and certification assistance. The company fosters internal promotions, enabling you to build a rewarding career path within a supportive and innovative automotive service leader.
