The company takes pride in fostering a culture that values its associates, emphasizing both professional growth and personal development through comprehensive training, mentorship, and ongoing support. This vibrant organization is recognized not just for its delicious offerings but also for being a workplace that promotes inclusiveness, equity, and opportunity for all employees.

The Assistant Manager role at Panda Express is a pivotal position within the store management team, requiring a blend of leadership, operational expertise, and a passion for customer service excellence. The candidate in this role will be responsible for assisting in managing day-to-day store operations to meet and exceed financial targets. This includes overseeing the recruitment and development of associates, directing team efforts to ensure outstanding guest satisfaction, and maintaining standards of quality and service that align with Panda Express's mission. Prospective Assistant Managers are supported extensively through a paid and structured Store Management Leadership Training program lasting three or more weeks, designed to provide the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in this dynamic environment.

Working at Panda Express offers more than just a job; it presents an opportunity for career advancement within a company deeply rooted in family values and community engagement. The role requires adaptability and flexibility, including the willingness to work at various store locations within a 50-mile radius and the ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends. The company offers a generous compensation package ranging from $25 to $28 per hour, complemented by bonus opportunities. Full-time associates benefit from medical, vision, dental, and various insurance plans, 401K with company match, paid time off, and holiday leave, reinforcing Panda Express's dedication to its employees' well-being and security. Additionally, Panda Express offers exclusive perks such as free meals during shifts, discounts on gym memberships and theme parks, scholarship programs, referral bonuses, and community service opportunities.

This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking a rewarding career in food service management within a supportive company that is committed to equal opportunity employment. The environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring good communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to handle challenging situations professionally. Panda Express stands firm in its pledge to providing reasonable accommodations to ensure all applicants and employees can perform effectively in their roles.
