Valvoline Instant Oil Change offers competitive weekly pay, comprehensive training, and numerous benefits designed to support employee growth and well-being.
The role of Assistant Service Center Manager (ASCM) at Valvoline Instant Oil Change is a critical position that supports the Service Center Manager (SCM) in the daily operations and leadership of the service center. The ASCM acts as the right hand to the SCM, focusing on building a high-performance team and enhancing the overall customer service experience to stand out from competitors. This position involves both hands-on work with vehicle maintenance and leadership responsibilities such as advising, training, and supervising hourly employees. The ASCM plays an important role in fostering a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests arriving at the service center, ensuring a memorable and satisfactory first impression for every customer. This role does not require prior automotive experience as paid on-the-job training is provided, allowing new employees to develop the necessary skills. The position also offers a flexible work schedule without late evenings or holiday shifts, supporting work-life balance.
In this role, you will perform essential automotive services like oil changes and other car maintenance tasks, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and retention. Additionally, you will assist with inventory management, labor, and the financial performance of the location. Mentoring and training team members is a key responsibility, as you help develop their skills and advance their careers. The ASCM is also expected to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment aligned with Environmental, Health & Safety compliance policies. Valvoline's strong commitment to promoting from within means that the career advancement opportunities are vast, supported by an award-winning training program and emphasis on fair and honest values. The company offers competitive pay starting at $20.25 per hour and comprehensive benefits including medical coverage with Health Savings Account contributions, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) plans with a 100% match up to 5%, paid time off, tuition assistance, and more. Joining VIOC as an Assistant Service Center Manager means becoming part of a supportive community passionate about employee success and customer satisfaction.
