As an Assistant Manager at Big Bob's Bowling, you will play a critical role in daily operational oversight and guest satisfaction. Supporting the General Manager, this position focuses on ensuring seamless front-of-house operations, managing bar service, enhancing team performance, and driving financial success. The Assistant Manager must excel in a fast-paced environment that merges hospitality with nightlife energy and operational discipline. This is a full-time position that requires a driven and hands-on leader. You will be responsible for leading shifts, managing guest flow, resolving concerns, supporting private events, coaching staff, and maintaining compliance with company and regulatory policies. Your leadership will be essential in cultivating a culture of energy, urgency, and ownership throughout the venue. Job Requirements
- 2+ years of restaurant, bar, or entertainment venue management experience
- Strong leadership presence
- Ability to command a busy floor
- Understanding of labor management and sales-driving tactics
- Experience in high-volume or nightlife environments preferred
- TABC certification required
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

- Coach and develop front-of-house and bar team members
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training
- Maintain accountability around service standards and steps of service

- Support sales-driving initiatives and promotions
- Manage labor to budget while maintaining service levels
- Monitor bar controls, cash handling, and daily reporting
- Protect margins through operational discipline
- Oversee beverage quality and consistency
- Maintain proper liquor controls and inventory processes
- Ensure compliance with TABC and company policies
- Support execution of seasonal cocktails and promotions
- Ensure cleanliness and organization throughout the venue
- Enforce safety and security standards
