Job Requirements
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high energy, physically demanding environment
- must have the stamina and ability to work 50 to 60 hours a week with occasional longer hours
- must be able to spend 90 percent of working time standing and 10 percent sitting
- ability to use sensory capabilities including vision, hearing, tasting, smelling, touching, and speaking
- physical capabilities including walking, bending, kneeling, handling, hand flexibility, reaching, squatting, crawling, lifting, climbing, and stooping
- must be able to carry loads greater than 35 pounds and transport up to 70 pounds
- must communicate clearly in the primary language of the restaurant
- must have 100 percent hearing accuracy with correction
- must have 20/20 vision with correction
- travel may be required for deliveries, visits to other locations, or company meetings
- reliable transportation required

Job Duties
- Ensure a high-quality operation
- manage team members
- advocate a team environment
- ensure prompt, friendly service according to McAlister’s guidelines
- supervise cleaning and maintenance of equipment and restaurant organization
- review financial information and monitor budget to ensure efficient operation
- maintain and control restaurant assets
- conduct line checks to ensure product standards
- complete daily paperwork and projects on time
- comply with cash control policies and procedures
- proactively schedule labor and react to business needs
- conduct inventories and calculate food and beverage costs
- manage ordering of food and beverage products
- direct kitchen activities as needed
- submit accurate information to Support Center and Area Director
- recruit, hire, train, motivate, and evaluate team members
- support and practice an open-door policy
- develop team members
- assure compliance with company policies
- inspire high morale and motivation
- conduct team meetings
- communicate effectively with other managers
- promote unity and positive team environment
- handle team conflicts professionally
