We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join our Bend location. This role is an exciting opportunity for individuals who have a passion for pizza and a proven track record in similar hospitality or restaurant management roles. As the Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure that every aspect of the business runs smoothly. You will play a crucial role in leading opening and closing shifts, supervising staff, and maintaining operational standards. Your leadership will help uphold our high standards of customer service, food quality, and regulatory compliance.

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for managing inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring that health and safety regulations are strictly followed. You'll also be instrumental in training and developing team members, promoting a positive work culture, and managing customer relations to resolve any issues promptly. This position requires excellent communication and leadership skills, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to accommodate varying shift schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role preferably in pizza or restaurant management
  • excellent communication skills
  • strong leadership capabilities
  • ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • good organizational and problem-solving skills
  • flexible availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • able to handle cash responsibly
  • keyholder authorization

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar assistant manager or supervisory role in the restaurant industry
  • experience in the pizza industry is preferred
  • excellent communication and leadership skills
  • strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • proficiency in managing inventory and cash handling
  • effective team development and training skills

Job Duties

  • Assist the General Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations
  • ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and high-quality food
  • train and develop team members to ensure they are meeting performance expectations
  • manage inventory and ordering to ensure adequate supplies are on hand
  • ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
  • lead opening shifts by supervising and completing all opening tasks including cash handling and equipment setup
  • lead closing shifts by ensuring all closing tasks are completed properly including cash reconciliation, cleaning, and securing the store
