Job Description
Flynn Group, a leader in the restaurant franchise industry, entered the Panera Bread system in 2015 by acquiring 47 cafes. Since then, the company has experienced remarkable growth, more than tripling in size to become the second largest Panera franchisee in the world. Flynn Panera operates with a decentralized business model where local geographic areas are overseen by Market Leaders. Under this structure, Area Directors manage multiple units, General Managers lead the daily operations of individual cafes, and Assistant Managers support the management teams by overseeing departments and handling everyday operational tasks. Managers, therefore, do not handle late-night shifts and focus on creating a positive morning and daytime work culture. The role of a Manager at Flynn Panera involves supervising up to 75 staff members and providing outstanding leadership to ensure an exceptional customer experience. Job Requirements
- must have at least 2 to 3 years of hospitality management experience
- degree or equivalent experience preferred
- food management certification is advantageous
- strong leadership skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks and team members effectively
- excellent communication skills
- able to handle physically demanding tasks including standing and mobility for up to 10 hours
- capable of safely lifting weights up to 50 pounds
- must read and write effectively for communication
- possess finger and hand dexterity for equipment operation
- must be a morning person as shifts do not include late nights
- stable employment record

Job Qualifications
- at least 2 to 3 years hospitality management experience
- degree or equivalent experience in hospitality or hotel restaurant management preferred
- food management certifications a plus

Job Duties
- taking responsibility for the overall business performance of the restaurant including ordering scheduling labor management marketing facilities management bakery operations and catering
- analyzing and planning restaurant sales levels and profitability
- creating and executing plans for sustained profitability
- serving as the primary conduit of information between associates and management team
- retaining and developing team members and managers
- managing budgets and controlling costs
- coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts
- greeting customers and doing table visits to ensure customer satisfaction
- inspiring associates to have fun and be their authentic selves while generating high productivity
- coaching and mentoring associates through one-on-ones performance documentation and performance reviews
- anticipating problems and taking action to prevent them
- serving as the primary resource for resolving associate questions
- ensuring associates are properly trained and fully competent in all aspects of food service and customer support
- recruiting and training staff to meet staffing par levels
- ensuring objectives are achieved while operating within company guidelines cultural values and ethical business practices
- exhibiting a professional image and embodying company values
