Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Complete Assistant Manager training
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English effectively
  • Ability to stand and walk 85-95% of shift
  • Ability to lift and carry 10-65 lbs
  • Ability to operate restaurant equipment and computer
  • Willingness to use personal vehicle for bank deposits and travel
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Must comply with labor laws and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience as Shift Leader or 1 year as Assistant Manager for internal candidates
  • Minimum 3 years Assistant Manager experience with P&L responsibility for external candidates
  • ServSafe certification
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to perform basic math and use management information tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated integrity and ethical behavior

Job Duties

  • Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
  • Monitor staffing levels and employee training on workstations
  • Manage daily restaurant operations to ensure excellent guest service and food quality
  • Respond to guest concerns and ensure positive resolution
  • Analyze operational and financial performance and implement improvement plans
  • Partner with Restaurant Manager to increase sales and profitability
  • Maintain restaurant cleanliness and compliance with safety regulations
