Additionally, there is potential for monthly bonuses depending on the location. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2-3 years restaurant management experience
  • Ability to work various shifts including weekends
  • Physical ability to stand and move for up to 10 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
  • Effective reading and writing skills
  • Dexterity for handling small tools and equipment
  • Willingness to work in all restaurant positions as needed

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Ensures timely, friendly service according to company guidelines, achieving established objectives of the unit
  • Cultivates a culture in accordance with Flynn Applebee's core values and beliefs
  • Ensures immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints to self and staff
  • Ensures guest contact as a priority with completion of required table visits
  • Maintains departmental inventory levels
  • Ensures product preparation and presentation uncompromisingly meeting company standards by performing line checks
  • Effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands
  • Maintains effective safety and security programs
  • Promotes and leads restaurant organization, cleanliness and sanitation
  • Performs routine maintenance and reports needed repairs
  • Promotes quality recruitment and referrals of team members and management candidates
  • Promotes Flynn Applebee's training procedures for new managers
  • Helps maintain a trained staff through effective orientation, training and meetings
  • Participates in employee development using performance documentation and evaluations
  • Assesses employee efficiency and provides fair feedback regularly
  • Monitors employee performance and documents situations requiring disciplinary action
  • Assures compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Controls cost in assigned department
  • Complies with local, state and federal laws and guidelines
  • Drives food and liquor inventories as required
  • Prepares and submits accurate daily paperwork
  • Assures sanitation standards meet or exceed Health Department and company standards
  • Provides a role model for managers and employees
  • Develops self on store-related technology
  • Works in all positions as needed including cooking, expo, seating, bartending
  • Uses Management Development Program for leadership growth
