Job Description

Burger King is a globally recognized fast-food restaurant chain that has been serving millions of customers worldwide. Known for its flame-grilled burgers and fast, friendly service, Burger King operates thousands of locations internationally. As a reputable company in the fast-food and hospitality industry, Burger King focuses on delivering high-quality food, excellent customer service, and a welcoming environment for both employees and guests. The company is committed to fostering a positive workplace culture that empowers its staff and promotes career growth opportunities within the organization. Working at Burger King means being part of a dynamic team dedicated to consistency, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

The Assistant Manager (AM) role at Burger King is a pivotal position responsible for supporting the Restaurant Manager in executing the company's mission and values while ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction. This role involves managing daily restaurant operations, focusing on financial control, people development, customer service, and compliance to deliver desired outcomes such as increased sales, profitability, and employee retention. The Assistant Manager is critical in maintaining smooth restaurant functions across shifts and assumes full accountability for operations in the absence of the Restaurant Manager or Senior Assistant Manager. This position demands the flexibility to work long, irregular hours and additional shifts as necessary. The AM leads by example, motivating and directing crew members and shift supervisors to exceed customer expectations through food quality, service efficiency, and maintaining clean and safe restaurant conditions.

Key responsibilities include directing efficient food production and timely service, resolving operational challenges, and maintaining positive crew morale and teamwork. The Assistant Manager plays an integral role in crew training and development, ensuring team members are well-equipped with knowledge of company standards and policies. The role also involves assisting with profit and loss management by overseeing cash controls, inventory, labor scheduling, and financial reporting. Ensuring regulatory and company policy compliance across safety, sanitation, and security is critical for this role. The Assistant Manager must demonstrate leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous learning while actively contributing to a productive and customer-focused restaurant environment. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for hospitality management and a drive to progress within the fast-food industry.
