The role of the Assistant Manager (AM) at Burger King is pivotal in supporting the Restaurant Manager by overseeing daily restaurant operations to achieve optimal results such as increased sales, profitability, and employee retention. When the Restaurant Manager or Senior Assistant Manager is unavailable, the AM takes full accountability for running the restaurant seamlessly.

Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- some college preferred
- minimum of one year leadership experience in a restaurant or retail/hospitality industry
- English proficiency with clear verbal and reading skills
- proficient math skills
- completion of or willingness to complete internal certifications such as Guest Service Expert, Basic Management Training, Serve Safe Essentials, Anti-Harassment Training, and HR Legal Compliance Training within 60 days
- ability to work long or irregular hours including extra shifts
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to supervise and motivate crew members
- commitment to compliance with safety, sanitation, and security standards
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- demonstrated leadership skills with at least one year of excellent performance in a Burger King or similar restaurant or retail/hospitality environment
- proficiency in English for clear communication
- proficient math skills
- completion or willingness to complete internal certifications including Guest Service Expert, Basic Management Training, Serve Safe Essentials, Anti-Harassment Training, and HR Legal Compliance Training

Job Duties
- leads operations excellence by directing efficient and accurate food preparation and prompt customer delivery
- leads shifts by motivating and directing crew to exceed customer expectations

- assists with profit and loss management including cash control, inventory, labor scheduling, and financial reporting
- ensures restaurant compliance with government regulations, company policies, food safety, and security standards
- resolves operational issues by identifying bottlenecks and facilitating timely solutions
