Job Qualifications
- Completion of high school education or equivalent experience
- One to two years work experience in food service or related industry
- Completion of CHAMPS Certification
- Developing Champions Certification for 'Leading a Restaurant in Manager's Absence'
- Demonstrated ability to coach and train others
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to plan and delegate
- Adaptable and active team player
- Knowledge of restaurant equipment, policies, and procedures
Job Duties
- Provide leadership in the restaurant by motivating and coaching Shift Leaders, Shift Managers, and Team Members
- Perform hands-on operational work to train employees and respond to customer service needs
- Consistently demonstrate company principles and utilize recognition programs
- Manage day-to-day operations including labor, inventory, and supplies
- Supervise others and coordinate their work efficiently
- Analyze sales, labor, inventory, and controllables to meet daily or weekly targets
- Assist RGM in financial planning and staffing plan development
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and corporate policies
- Maintain facility and equipment standards
- Recruit, select, train, and develop team members and management staff
- Provide performance feedback and assist with performance management and discipline
- Communicate action plans and assist with local marketing and new product rollouts
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and corporate contacts
