  • 1-2 years of customer service experience
  • 1-2 years of cake decorating experience

Job Duties

  • Assist the store manager with maximizing sales and profits
  • Recommend strategies to assist with store marketing
  • Meet store operations and customer service objectives
  • Manage cash handling procedures including making deposits
  • Prepare ingredients for baking and decorating
  • Operate ovens and bake ingredients within standard constraints
  • Decorate cookies and cakes using various templates
  • Ensure cleanliness of store and preparation areas
  • Assist with recruiting, training and developing store personnel
  • Coach and develop associates to meet operational goals
  • Serve guests and create an exciting experience
  • Handle employee performance issues with appropriate documentation
  • Operate a register and ensure money and cash handling accountability
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state and local laws
  • Perform paperwork and administrative tasks
  • Adhere to company standards
  • Perform other duties as required
