The company operates numerous apartment complexes across various locations, including Amarillo, Texas, striving to maintain and enhance the value of its properties through efficient operations and dedicated team members.
The Maintenance Technician role at Case entails preparing apartments for new residents while assisting the Lead Maintenance Technician with broader maintenance responsibilities. This full-time position, based in Amarillo, Texas, offers a competitive pay rate starting at $17 per hour, depending on experience. The Maintenance Technician is integral to ensuring apartments and common areas are in excellent condition, addressing light repairs and comprehensive maintenance work across the property.
Key responsibilities involve a variety of tasks such as plumbing repairs, major appliance servicing, carpentry, painting, and general upkeep of facilities including leasing offices, clubhouse areas, and swimming pools. The position requires hands-on work with outdoor repairs like roof maintenance, gutter replacements, parking lot upkeep, and privacy fence repairs, enhancing the residents' living experience and the property’s curb appeal.
Attention to detail and proactive maintenance are critical, especially in monitoring and maintaining the pool and Jacuzzi systems, including water chemical balancing and routine cleaning. The technician also responds to maintenance requests from current residents promptly and professionally. Being prepared for seasonal challenges like snow removal and ice-melt application during winter is another vital part of the role.
The Maintenance Technician plays a supportive leadership role, stepping in as the Lead Maintenance Technician when necessary and assisting with ordering supplies and materials under the guidance of the Property Manager. This position offers growth opportunities within Case, supported by a culture of innovation, customer service excellence, and dedication to staff development.
