Job Requirements
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in hospitality management, criminal justice, business, or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of security, loss prevention, or supervisory experience preferred
- Hospitality experience preferred
- Ability to implement and uphold company standards for excellence
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful or high-pressure situations
- Ability to support and implement plans aligned with company vision, goals, and culture
- Ability to promote and enforce safe work practices

Job Duties
- Assist in establishing and enforcing operational procedures related to fire prevention, OSHA compliance, workplace safety, accident prevention, security protocols, and property patrols
- Assist with investigations involving accidents, policy violations, theft, property damage, and criminal activity while maintaining detailed records and incident reports
- Support the Loss Prevention Manager and hotel leadership team in implementing safety and security programs, policies, and procedures
- Patrol hotel grounds and facilities to identify safety or security concerns and ensure corrective action is taken in a timely manner
- Monitor and verify that security staff are conducting and documenting routine patrols appropriately
- Assist with maintaining positive working relationships with local law enforcement, emergency responders, and other government agencies as needed
- Observe departing employees and conduct package inspections, when necessary, to help prevent theft or unauthorized removal of company property
- Monitor CCTV systems, report operational concerns, and assist with maintaining security equipment
- Assist with managing visitor access by permitting authorized vendors and guests entry onto the property and ensuring proper visitor documentation procedures are followed
- Ensure accurate documentation is maintained regarding accidents, unusual occurrences, safety concerns, patrol logs, and security incidents
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and assist with implementing emergency response procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned
