Currently, Salted is seeking a driven and experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to join their Miami location at 1900 NE Miami Ct. This full-time position offers an hourly pay rate ranging from $25 to $30, reflecting the company's commitment to attracting top kitchen talent. The Assistant Kitchen Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the kitchen operations by ensuring quality control, maintaining food presentation standards, and upholding health and safety protocols. The role requires collaborating closely with the Hospitality Team to deliver excellent customer service, overseeing inventory management, assisting with team training and development, and contributing to meeting financial and operational goals. This position offers diverse shifts including AM, PM, and Mid Shifts, providing flexibility to accommodate various schedules.

In this role, the Assistant Kitchen Manager will assist with onboarding new staff members and supporting ongoing training to cultivate a skilled and cohesive kitchen team. The responsibilities also extend to managing inventory, conducting regular audits, and assisting in budget oversight, ensuring that the kitchen runs efficiently and cost-effectively. The candidate will help monitor compliance with standardized recipes and portion sizes to maintain consistency and quality across menu offerings. Additionally, this role demands proactive resolution of customer service issues and support in staff scheduling and payroll processing. Addressing equipment and technical issues promptly is also a key part of the daily duties to minimize disruptions in kitchen operations. The position requires a hands-on approach, including executing catering orders while maintaining smooth kitchen service flow.

Salted embraces an inclusive work culture and offers comprehensive benefits to full-time team members such as medical, dental, and vision plans, a 401k plan with up to 4% employer match after one year, free nutritious meals during shifts, and robust career development and growth opportunities. Being part of the Salted team means contributing to a forward-thinking culinary journey with opportunities to grow within a rapidly expanding company.
