Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • one to three years of experience in restaurant management preferred
  • ability to perform physical exertion tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 80 percent of the time
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • knowledge of food safety and health regulations
  • effective leadership and team management skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • certificate of Serve Safe or safe food handling preferred
  • one to three years of restaurant management experience preferred
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • ability to perform physical tasks involving standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 80 percent of the time

Job Duties

  • Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen
  • coordinate and supervise kitchen staff according to food safety standards
  • assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating employees
  • monitor food preparation and quality control
  • manage inventory orders and perform food inventory audits
  • maintain kitchen cleanliness and organize waste and delivery areas
  • ensure equipment is maintained and repaired as needed
