- previous kitchen supervisory experience preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- strong organizational skills
- food handler certification or willingness to obtain
- ability to stand for extended periods
- excellent communication skills
- must be dependable and a team player

Job Duties
- Supervise and oversee the production of food
- enforce compliance with employment policies in the kitchen area
- monitor tickets and set the pace during peak hours
- conduct formal line taste and temperature checks
- ensure proper handling, maintenance, and storage of food items
- manage inventory and track waste under Kitchen Manager direction
- monitor and maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of kitchen equipment
- ensure back of house employees follow established recipes and procedures
- practice safe food handling procedures and create a safe environment for staff
- help develop back of house employees
- maintain cleanliness of restaurant and safety of guests
- assist with non-scheduled tasks such as serving, hosting, cooking as needed
