Job Requirements

  • be at least 18 years of age
  • possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • capable of standing for several hours and lifting 10-55 lbs
  • demonstrate consistency and reliability
  • have a cheerful and positive attitude
  • value teamwork and enjoy serving others
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • willing to create emotional connections and maintain eye contact with guests
  • ready to honor and encourage the restaurant's visions and values

Job Qualifications

  • prior kitchen leadership or assistant management experience preferred but not required
  • strong knowledge of kitchen operations and inventory management
  • ability to train and lead a team effectively
  • excellent communication skills in English
  • ability to multitask efficiently and maintain a positive attitude
  • strong organizational and financial tracking abilities
  • enthusiasm for customer service and teamwork

Job Duties

  • lead kitchen operations and manage kitchen staff
  • maintain inventory and ensure all necessary ingredients are stocked
  • hire new staff and provide comprehensive training
  • streamline kitchen processes to maintain prompt service times
  • collaborate with Head Chef to develop and maintain the restaurant menu
  • enforce kitchen cleaning and sanitation standards
  • create schedules for kitchen staff and track kitchen finances to identify and reduce waste
