We are currently seeking a Kitchen Assistant Manager who is friendly, enthusiastic, and passionate about delivering exceptional guest service. The role focuses on leading kitchen operations, ensuring inventory is well-maintained, and streamlining processes for efficiency. You will collaborate closely with the Head Chef to develop and maintain an enticing restaurant menu that reflects the establishment's vision. Your responsibilities will include hiring and training new staff, setting and verifying cleaning standards to uphold sanitation levels, creating staff schedules, and monitoring kitchen finances to reduce wastage. Ideal candidates will be leaders with prior kitchen management experience or those eager to grow into the position with on-the-job training provided. Job Requirements

  • be at least 18 years of age
  • possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • capable of standing for several hours and lifting 10-55 lbs
  • demonstrate consistency and reliability
  • have a cheerful and positive attitude
  • value teamwork and enjoy serving others
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • willing to create emotional connections and maintain eye contact with guests

Job Qualifications

  • prior kitchen leadership or assistant management experience preferred but not required
  • strong knowledge of kitchen operations and inventory management
  • ability to train and lead a team effectively
  • excellent communication skills in English
  • ability to multitask efficiently and maintain a positive attitude
  • strong organizational and financial tracking abilities
  • enthusiasm for customer service and teamwork
