Job Requirements
- be at least 18 years of age
- possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- capable of standing for several hours and lifting 10-55 lbs
- demonstrate consistency and reliability
- have a cheerful and positive attitude
- value teamwork and enjoy serving others
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- willing to create emotional connections and maintain eye contact with guests
- ready to honor and encourage the restaurant's visions and values
Job Qualifications
- prior kitchen leadership or assistant management experience preferred but not required
- strong knowledge of kitchen operations and inventory management
- ability to train and lead a team effectively
- excellent communication skills in English
- ability to multitask efficiently and maintain a positive attitude
- strong organizational and financial tracking abilities
- enthusiasm for customer service and teamwork
Job Duties
- lead kitchen operations and manage kitchen staff
- maintain inventory and ensure all necessary ingredients are stocked
- hire new staff and provide comprehensive training
- streamline kitchen processes to maintain prompt service times
- collaborate with Head Chef to develop and maintain the restaurant menu
- enforce kitchen cleaning and sanitation standards
- create schedules for kitchen staff and track kitchen finances to identify and reduce waste
