The role of the team member at Dash is multifaceted, requiring a balance of operational, managerial, and customer service skills. This position works closely with the Kitchen Manager to ensure all facets of restaurant operations run smoothly. The team member acts as Manager on Duty in the manager's absence, overseeing food production, customer service, and compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations. The role also entails assisting with recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating store personnel. Responsibilities include food preparation, cooking customer orders, monitoring and maintaining cooking equipment, managing inventory and product ordering, handling maintenance requests, and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

The ideal candidate is a proactive individual with a friendly and outgoing demeanor, capable of working efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service are essential. Job Requirements

  • 18+ years of age
  • Valid driver license and reliable transportation
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Food Handler Certification (preferred)
  • Verifiable work history
  • Outgoing and friendly demeanor
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends
  • Communicate effectively in English (hear, speak, read, and write)
  • Safely lift 55 lbs
  • Stand and walk for 8+ consecutive hours
  • Climb a step ladder, reach with arms above head, grasp with hands, bend, and crouch
  • Use hands bilaterally and unilaterally
  • Count and weigh product
  • calculate basic math
  • Basic computer proficiency including email and Microsoft Office
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced food service environment
  • Pass a pre-employment background check

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices
  • 2+ years in customer service
