The organization is responsible for selecting the Olympic and Paralympic volleyball teams representing the U.S. on the world stage. Beyond the competitive elements, USAV supports a broad network of regional associations, as well as youth and junior volleyball programs, national championships, coaching and officials training, grassroots development, and the important SafeSport initiative that safeguards athletes and promotes integrity across the sport. USAV is highly committed to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout its community and workplace, ensuring an inclusive environment without discrimination based on race, color, national origin, gender, age, religion, gender identity or expression, disability, or sexual orientation. Those interested can learn more about USAV’s efforts in these areas on their official website's DEI page.
