Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, hospitality management, business administration, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of human resources experience preferably in hospitality or a service-focused environment
- Knowledge of human resources practices, employment law, and employee relations principles
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- Bilingual in Spanish is required
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Ability to occasionally lift or move up to moderate weight
- Ability to travel throughout the hotel to support operations and associate needs
- Must possess high level of discretion and integrity
- Must have strong organizational and administrative skills

Job Duties
- Support the day-to-day administration of Human Resources functions for hotel associates
- Assist with recruitment efforts including posting positions, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating hiring activities
- Facilitate new hire onboarding, orientation, and associate documentation
- Maintain accurate associate files, HRIS records, and confidential Human Resources documentation
- Support employee relations by responding to associate questions and escalating concerns
- Assist with performance management processes, corrective action documentation, and policy interpretation
- Coordinate training programs, learning initiatives, and compliance-related education
- Administer benefits, leave tracking, and associate support programs
- Monitor compliance with employment laws and Hyatt policies
- Assist with payroll-related follow-up, attendance tracking, and employment status changes
- Support associate engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and hotel events
- Partner with department leaders for staffing needs, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness
- Prepare reports, maintain HR metrics, and assist with audits or internal reviews
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
