Sho-Pai Tribes, officially known as the Shoshone-Paiute (Sho-Pai) Tribes, represents a sovereign tribal government located on the Duck Valley Reservation in Owyhee, Nevada. Job Requirements

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willingness and ability to travel for meetings and organizational needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in HR information systems
  • Detail-oriented and dependable
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management Business Administration or Psychology
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources including 2 years of full-cycle recruitment experience
  • PHR SHRM-CP or THRP certification preferred
  • Experience administering employee benefits and responding to employee inquiries
  • Experience maintaining HR systems and employee records such as MIP
  • Experience supporting HR operations reporting and compliance
  • Experience coordinating onboarding orientation and training initiatives
  • Experience supervising or guiding HR team members
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

Job Duties

  • Managing full-cycle recruitment including sourcing screening and coordinating interviews
  • Administering employee benefits programs and responding to employee inquiries
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and processing employment changes
  • Supporting onboarding processes and conducting employee orientations
  • Assisting with HR operations reporting and departmental projects
  • Overseeing HR functions in the absence of the Human Resources Director
  • Supporting training development and employee engagement initiatives
  • Assisting with compliance processes including drug testing and documentation
