Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two to four years of experience in housekeeping department head roles
  • Proficiency in English language
  • Ability to use hotel management software such as HotSOS, Opera, BirchStreet, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including mornings, days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to conduct detailed inspections and maintain high cleanliness standards

Job Qualifications

  • Two to four years of previous experience in housekeeping department head positions
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to operate computer equipment and computer systems including HotSOS, Opera, BirchStreet, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
  • Bilingual skill preferred
  • Experience in laundry preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead, train, schedule, and coach the Housekeeping team fostering high performance through ongoing feedback, performance evaluations, and corrective action when necessary
  • Oversee daily housekeeping operations by assigning and monitoring workloads, inspecting guest rooms and public areas to ensure brand standards are met, coordinating maintenance requests, managing floor inventory and supplies, and releasing completed guest rooms for occupancy
  • Work closely with hotel departments to ensure a flawless guest experience that consistently exceeds Four Seasons standards and expectations
  • Conduct pre-arrival inspections of VIP rooms
  • Manage laundry operations where applicable
  • Maintain communication with the management team to report housekeeping progress and challenges
  • Enforce health, safety, and cleanliness standards throughout all housekeeping areas
