Job Requirements
- Completion of a culinary school program or apprenticeship preferred
- 2-4 years of professional baking experience preferred
- Experience with Danish or Scandinavian baking methods is a huge plus
- Ability to work overnight, weekends, and some holidays
- Able to lift 50+lbs without restrictions
- The ability to stand and/or bend for extended periods of time
- Basic math skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Adhere to health and safety standards
- Follow company procedures and food safety regulations

- Experience with mixing, bench work, proofing, and baking bread as well as working with laminated doughs for breakfast pastry production
- Ability to work overnight, weekends, and some holidays
- Able to lift 50+lbs without restrictions
- The ability to stand and/or bend for extended periods of time to perform essential job functions
- Basic math skills
- Highly honed sense of urgency
- Excellent time management skills
- Thoroughly follow company procedures according to health and safety standards
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures
Job Duties
- Oversee daily production of breads, ryes, rolls, and pastries according to our traditional Danish recipes
- Observe and maintain the quality of products being baked, and adjust oven temperatures, baking time accordingly
- Management of a team of up to 6 - handling daily scheduling
- Management of bakery, including organization and cleanliness of dried storage and fridges
- Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, heat sources, and other equipment
- Checking-in and accepting deliveries from our purveyors
- Follow portion standards
- Monitor inventory of ingredients for production
- Properly label and store ingredients
- Check equipment to ensure that it meets health and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and orderly bake shop and adhere to health and safety standards
