Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of managerial experience in the luxury hospitality industry
  • College degree in Hospitality Management preferred or equivalent experience
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, hotelier scheduling systems, and Opera
  • Full-time availability
  • Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods and work on a computer
  • Warm, friendly, sincere, and outgoing nature
  • Ability to apply conflict resolution and critical thinking skills
  • Able to reach, bend, balance and transport objects up to 15 lbs
  • Able to access and navigate all departments within the facility

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years managerial experience in luxury hospitality
  • College degree in Hospitality Management preferred or equivalent experience
  • Fluent in English, other languages an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, hotel scheduling systems, and Opera
  • Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent leadership, conflict resolution, and critical thinking skills
  • Warm, friendly, and sincere demeanor with a commitment to service excellence
  • Physical ability to reach, bend, balance and lift objects up to 15 lbs
  • Ability to navigate all hotel departments

Job Duties

  • Manage daily front office operations to present a positive hotel image and create excellent guest and team experiences
  • Manage all aspects of guest experience from arrival to departure and ensure team knowledge of local area and hotel amenities
  • Maintain high guest service standards as directed by the Managing Director
  • Develop and maintain strong guest relationships and organize special events, promotions, and guest requests to ensure satisfaction
  • Assist with front desk, bell services, and lobby coverage during absences or high volumes
  • Supervise, train, coach, and develop team members fostering a positive environment
  • Ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures and maintain accountability for compliance
