The role of Assistant Guest Services Manager at The Vineta Hotel is crafted for dynamic individuals eager to lead and inspire the Guest Services team to provide a seamless, personalized, and memorable experience for every guest from arrival to departure. This position demands a presence imbued with passion, a family spirit, and elegant professionalism to uphold the high standards synonymous with The Vineta Hotel's reputation. Key responsibilities include overseeing the daily operations of the front office, managing guest interactions and expectations, and ensuring team members are well-versed in local amenities and services. The Assistant Guest Services Manager is also instrumental in cultivating strong guest relationships, organizing special events and promotions, and maintaining a positive and cooperative work environment through effective supervision and development of staff.
This full-time role requires flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of managerial experience in luxury hospitality, a college degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, hotel scheduling systems, and Opera. Fluency in English is essential, with additional languages considered an asset.

Job Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of managerial experience in the luxury hospitality industry
- College degree in Hospitality Management preferred or equivalent experience
- Fluent in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, hotelier scheduling systems, and Opera
- Full-time availability
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods and work on a computer
- Warm, friendly, sincere, and outgoing nature
- Ability to apply conflict resolution and critical thinking skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Manage daily front office operations to present a positive hotel image and create excellent guest and team experiences
- Manage all aspects of guest experience from arrival to departure and ensure team knowledge of local area and hotel amenities
- Maintain high guest service standards as directed by the Managing Director
- Develop and maintain strong guest relationships and organize special events, promotions, and guest requests to ensure satisfaction
- Assist with front desk, bell services, and lobby coverage during absences or high volumes
- Supervise, train, coach, and develop team members fostering a positive environment
- Ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures and maintain accountability for compliance
