Founded and based in Austin, Texas, Hai Hospitality has expanded its footprint with locations in major cities such as Austin, Dallas, Houston, Denver, Scottsdale, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and Miami, with plans for new openings in Charlotte, Washington, Bethesda, Newport Beach, and additional Miami locations, signaling a thriving future and continuous growth within the hospitality industry. The company prides itself on fostering a culture rooted in hospitality, creativity, and community engagement, offering team members an enriching work environment where craftsmanship and work ethic are highly valued. Employees are encouraged to take pride in their roles, contribute to memorable guest experiences, and work alongside talented colleagues who share a passion for hospitality.
Currently, Hai Hospitality is seeking an experienced Restaurant Assistant General Manager for the soon-to-open Uchi Nashville location. This full-time leadership role is pivotal in supporting the General Manager and Assistant General Manager in overseeing front-of-house operations to ensure superior guest service and operational excellence. The Assistant General Manager will work closely with the management team to guide, mentor, and inspire the front-of-house service staff, fostering a collaborative and high-energy environment. This position demands strong leadership, a customer-focused mindset, and an ability to manage the complexities of a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant setting. Key responsibilities include assisting with Profit and Loss (P&L) reporting, managing inventory procedures, and leveraging a robust knowledge of food and beverages to enhance the dining experience. Candidates must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends to align with operational needs. Hai Hospitality values emotional intelligence and ambition; hence, the ideal candidate will exhibit these traits and demonstrate a deep passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
Joining Hai Hospitality means becoming part of a growing family that offers medical, dental, vision, and accident insurance options, an employee assistance program encompassing mental health resources, and an employer-matched 401(k) savings plan. The company supports work-life balance through paid vacation, maternity and paternity leave, and family contributions towards medical premiums. Career growth is highly encouraged with a strong focus on internal promotion, ensuring staff have clear pathways to advance. Dining discounts and a positive workplace culture complete the benefits of working with this industry leader. Hai Hospitality also participates in E-Verify for its Arizona and Florida locations, underscoring its commitment to legal and ethical hiring practices. The company is an equal opportunity employer, embracing diversity and inclusivity in its recruitment and workplace environment.
