Situated in a vibrant and bustling environment, it caters to a wide range of special events ranging from intimate gatherings to large celebrations. Moreover, the establishment is privileged to serve guests during high-volume days and major events at Allegiant Stadium, including concerts and sporting events. This makes WSKY Stadium not only a restaurant but a dynamic event hub committed to providing unforgettable experiences that leave customers with warm memories. WSKY Stadium is more than just a place to eat; it is a community where passion and customer focus are at the core of the business philosophy. The team is driven by a shared belief in delivering excellence and genuine hospitality in every interaction.
The role of Assistant General Manager at WSKY Stadium is designed for a proactive leader who will play a pivotal role in managing both the financial and operational aspects of the tavern. This position requires a hands-on manager who actively nurtures the growth and development of the hourly staff by ensuring complete understanding and adherence to WSKY Taverns’ operational standards, policies, and procedures. As a leader, the Assistant General Manager sets the tone by leading through example and fostering a work environment geared towards service excellence and team engagement.
Key responsibilities include building a team that consistently delivers prompt guest recognition and satisfaction, maintaining high standards for food and beverage service, and managing all aspects of gaming operations. This person is responsible for interpreting gaming reports to maximize gaming, food, and liquor sales while aiming to meet cost-of-goods goals. Proficiency with the Toast POS System is mandatory, and the Assistant General Manager also oversees inventory control, product levels, and ensures the facility is clean, well-maintained, and compliant with OSHA, Health District, and Clark County regulations. A thorough understanding of Gaming Compliance is essential to this role.
Working in this role means collaborating closely with leadership, the Executive Chef, and the Group Dining Manager to plan and execute menus for large groups, handle banquet operations, and ensure flawless event delivery. The Assistant General Manager also manages budgets, coaches and counsels staff, enforces company standards, and engages with guests to guarantee a tailored and memorable experience. This challenging yet rewarding position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for guest service to succeed in a high-volume, dynamic environment.
