Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven supervisory or assistant management experience in restaurant industry
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within the restaurant industry
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Certification in food safety is advantageous
  • College degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist the restaurant general manager in overseeing daily operations including opening and closing procedures and cash handling
  • Monitor and maintain restaurant cleanliness, sanitation standards, and adherence to food safety regulations
  • Supervise and train restaurant crew members and shift managers providing guidance, feedback, and coaching
  • Assist in scheduling shifts and managing staffing levels
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints maintaining high standards of hospitality
  • Assist in managing restaurant finances, controlling costs, and achieving financial targets
  • Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage and usage of food and beverage products
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Communicate effectively with restaurant staff and corporate headquarters
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and support personnel to deliver seamless customer service
