Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven supervisory or assistant management experience in restaurant industry
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within the restaurant industry
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Certification in food safety is advantageous
- College degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred
Job Duties
- Assist the restaurant general manager in overseeing daily operations including opening and closing procedures and cash handling
- Monitor and maintain restaurant cleanliness, sanitation standards, and adherence to food safety regulations
- Supervise and train restaurant crew members and shift managers providing guidance, feedback, and coaching
- Assist in scheduling shifts and managing staffing levels
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints maintaining high standards of hospitality
- Assist in managing restaurant finances, controlling costs, and achieving financial targets
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage and usage of food and beverage products
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Communicate effectively with restaurant staff and corporate headquarters
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and support personnel to deliver seamless customer service
